Klender Flyover Interactive Park Full of Trash

The interactive park under Klender flyover, Caking, East Jakarta was full of trash and slum. People could easily spot the trash in the park.

Based on Beritajakarta.com’s observation, Monday (2/8), mostly the trash were vegetables from street vendors. At the northern side, there was also residual of burnt trash. Other areas are water channel and outside the park fences.
Caking Sub-district Head, Alamsyah, admitted that the trash inside the park is under authority of East Jakarta Sub-dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries. In fact, his side is ready to assist.

Meanwhile, Maria Tambunan, East Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of City Parks and Cemeteries, explained that the trash is transported daily. Scattered trash was caused due to no temporary disposal site.
“Later, we’ll coordinate with Sub-dept. of City Cleanliness to overcome this matter,” she explained.
